ICE BREAKERS

These are some helpful ideas to get your group started in a fun and engaging way! Take them and make them work for your group and HAVE FUN!

  • Photo Scavenger Hunt

Put together a list of commonly found items (ie. basketball, toothbrush, dog/cat, etc.) Have everyone get into pairs or groups. Using only their photos, the first group to find each item wins.

  • Random Fact Match

Everyone writes down an interesting fact about themselves, then folds it and puts it in a bowl. The interesting facts are then read outloud. Every person takes turns guessing which fact matches which person. The last person to be guessed wins.

  • Personality Test

Look at different tests online that would be fun for your group to take together. Some good ideas include Myers Briggs (16 Personalities), the DISC Assessment, and the Enneagram test.

  • Ice Breaker Questions

Questions can be used to start a conversation and get to know more about people at the same time. Some ideas include:

    • What is the furthest away from home you have been?

    • If you could try any other job for one day with no consequences, what would it be?

    • How many monkeys do you think you could take on before you become overwhelmed?

    • What is your go to road trip snack?

    • Do you think aliens are real or made up?

    • Which of the seven wonders of the world would you want to see the most?
