WELCOME, HEROES!

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!

  • You are seen.

The vision of North can’t go forth if it weren’t for individuals like you. You consistently and willingly invest your time, talents and treasures. You are at the heart of everything we do and you truly are heroes for the kingdom and the local church.

  • You are loved.

“We are contributors, not consumers”. You each embody this standard. You realize the need for people to serve the kingdom and because of your love for Christ, you selflessly do this. We love you and are forever grateful for you.

  • You are valued.

May we never take for granted the sacrifices you make to be a Hero at North. We want to do life with you, pray with you, support you, and uplift you at all times. Whatever season of life you’re facing, know that we are walking along side you through it. You are not alone.

What is CAKE?

When someone “Gives Cake”, this is a way of publicly acknowledging an individual or a group for being caught doing the right thing or for going above and beyond the call of duty. This is how we recognize excellence throughout the church. So let’s give some cake!

CAKE! CAKE! CAKE! FOR DECEMBER

  • Glenda Maxwell

Glenda went above and beyond her Connections Team duties by getting a family from Peru connected and made them feel welcomed here at NORTH!

  • Kayla Smith

Kayla came into the office and helped prepare crafts for northKIDS during her free time! Thank you so much for your help in getting things ready for a fun weekend!

  • Jolian George

Jolian jumped in and made it happen when there was a coffee and hot chocolate spill during the last NYA event. Even though it was not her responsibility, she stepped in and stepped up!

  • Josh & Ashley Hunter

Always serving faithfully on the Online Team, Josh and Ashley were quick to jump in and serve when a fellow team member was under the weather. Thank you both!

  • Jeremy Dugas

Jeremy has really emerged as a great leader within the production team! This was evident when he planned and executed a very fun Christmas party for the team!

  • David Maxwell

Imagine going to OKC Dream to help volunteer for their event and THEN be asked to play a part in their play because someone couldn’t make it! That’s exactly what David did! AMAZING!

  • Daniel & Angie Snodgrass

Thank you SO MUCH to Daniel and Angie taking time out of their schedules for planning the Christmas party for the prayer team. It was a great time for all in attendance!

  • Joyce Fox

The amazing Joyce Fox used her seamstress skills to help Michael Bergstrasser become the candelabra for our “Bring a Guest” song and dance! Thank you again!

  • Bismark Flores

Even though his job is to run a camera, Bismark was so intentional in welcoming a few people who came into church late. Made sure they had sermon notes and showed them their seats!

  • Jeff Echeverry & Garrett Sewell

These two fellas braved single-digit temperatures to shovel ice and snow from our sidewalks, making it safe for those attending the Candlelight experiences!

  • Prayer Team

We are so thankful for our amazing prayer team who intercede on the behalf of others week in and week out. Your impact is seen and felt. You are difference makers!

HEROES OF THE WEEK FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER

STAY IN THE KNOW

  • 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting

As Spirit-Led families, we are focusing on prayer and scripture by putting aside food, drink, entertainment, social media and the like to focus on our spiritual life. Read along with our Daily Scripture Reading plan and prayer focus as we pray for the “Nations in our Neighborhood”. Make a commitment to participate in some way, shape or form. For more information, click here.

  • Prayer Meeting

Come join us as we worship Jesus and pray for our church family and community. During the 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting, we will have prayer meeting each Tuesday at 7:00pm. We hope to see you there!

  • MLK Day Celebration

Our 3rd Annual MLK Day Celebration is happening on Sunday, January 15th at 5pm. This will be a power-packed event celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with local community leaders, panelists and performers.
