    The vision of North can’t go forth if it weren’t for individuals like you. You consistently and willingly invest your time, talents and treasures. You are at the heart of everything we do and you truly are heroes for the kingdom and the local church.

  • You are loved.

    “We are contributors, not consumers”. You each embody this standard. You realize the need for people to serve the kingdom and because of your love for Christ, you selflessly do this. We love you and are forever grateful for you.

  • You are valued.

    May we never take for granted the sacrifices you make to be a Hero at North. We want to do life with you, pray with you, support you, and uplift you at all times. Whatever season of life you’re facing, know that we are walking along side you through it. You are not alone.

What is CAKE?

 

When someone “Gives Cake”, this is a way of publicly acknowledging an individual or a group for being caught doing the right thing or for going above and beyond the call of duty. This is how we recognize excellence throughout the church. So let’s give some cake!

  • Guthrie Volunteers + Worship Team

    When the electricity went out unexpectedly before experiences, this team jumped into action and did what needed to be done to make sure the day went forth without interruption. AMAZING!

  • Jeana Jones

    For always being ready and willing to jump in and assist in northKIDS, Jeana gets a gold star! She served three Sunday experiences AND led the Elementary area.

  • Annah Baykal

    We know how busy things can get around here and when Anna saw the Cafe Team getting overwhelmed, she jumped in and served with joy and a great smile. Thank you for your servant’s heart!

  • Rhonda Bergstrasser

    “Mama B” handled a group FULL of energetic 4 and 5 year olds without even breaking a sweat. Using the power of prayer, she proclaimed peace over the kids and they had a great day!

  • Shauna Reid

    Stepping out of our comfort zone can be hard but Shauna did just that and shared her amazing story about the impact of tithing in her life. Thank you for sharing your heart with us!

    Big thanks to Bernie for handling all the technical issues of the production team like a BOSS! She makes it look easy and makes us look good on a regular.

  • Dustin + Dionne Rogers

    During our donut weeks, Dustin and Dionne volunteered their time each Sunday to help prepare hundreds of donuts for attendees. Thank you for all of your behind the scenes work.

  • Janitta Swain

    Janitta came in clutch and stepped in to share her tithing story and showed how important it is to tithe, starting at an early age, and even if you don’t have steady income. So good!

  • Lexington Volunteers

    Specifically to Karen Coon, Jessica Gutierrez, and Dustin Rogers for traveling to Lexington and ministering to the men at the prison. Thank you for showing God’s love to those who least expect it.

  • Lexington Leaders

    Shayne, Javier and Aaron have answered the call of God on their lives and have been radically transformed by the power of Christ, and made it their mission to witness to the men about God’s love.

  • Esther Coleman

    The self-proclaimed “Master Floater”, Ms. Esther will answer the call at anytime to cover where more volunteers are needed. Thank you for your love and flexibility!

  • Justice Jones

    Justice comes in the office weekly and volunteers her time by answering phones, covering the front desk and assisting with various office task. She fills in the gap and is a difference maker!

STAY IN THE KNOW

  • Join us on the last Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm as we come together to pray for the needs of our church, families, and our communities.

  • Get your students (6th-12th grade) signed up for Fall Retreat! For more information, click here.

  • Refuse to live life alone and join a North Group! The Fall season is just now starting so it’s not too late to join. Find a full list of groups here.

  • Enjoy a fall celebration for everyone! We will have games, inflatables, a petting zoo, fun snacks and more. Invite your friends to this fun fall event. And don’t forget to wear your costume!
